Contingent Upon Award

 

Support Homeland Security with your technical expertise in Lifecycle Support Specialist engineering.  The Semper Valens Solutions (SVS) PD Aerostats group is seeking technical Military trained and experienced professionals for the Aerostats Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance program.  This program provides support for the following systems: Persistent Threat Detection Systems (PTDS), Joint Combat Identification Marking Systems (JCIMS), Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR), Persistent Ground Surveillance Systems (PGSS), Persistent Surveillance Systems – Tethered (PSS-T), Winch Aerostat Small Platform, and other products/systems as they are transitioned to be managed by PD Aerostats.  This program for SVS is contingent upon award.

Lifecycle Support Specialist Responsibilities:

 

Ø  Familiar with and able to contribute/produce to the analysis, generation, preparation, and delivery of various forms of Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD), which includes:

o    Life-Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP)

o    Reliability, Availability, Maintainability (RAM) Analysis

o    Life Cycle Cost Analysis

o    Operation and Maintenance Task Analysis,

o    Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)

o    Training Task Analysis

o    Provisioning Requirement Analysis

o    Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)

o    Spares Analysis

o    Transportability Analysis, and Packaging, handling, and Storage Analysis.

Ø  Design Change Notices, Provisioning Parts Lists, Modeling Candidates Lists, sparing recommendations, PHS&T, etc.

Ø  Must analyze and evaluate project technical and contractual requirements to effect and maintain a logistics plan of operation

Ø  Must understand & maintain logistics configurations for multiple programs

 

Lifecycle Support Specialist Qualifications:

Ø  Must have training in defense logistics management and a minimum of 12 months experience in supporting lifecycle logistics, including managing product support documentation and type classification, and applying logistics applications as required such as:

o   PowerLog-J;

o   Logistics Modernization Program (LMP);

o   Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS);

o   Computerized Optimization Model For Predicting and Analyzing Support Structure (COMPASS);

o   Selected Essential-Item Stock for Availability Method (SESAME);

o   Standard Study Number-Line Item Automated Management and Integrating System (SLAMIS);

o   Cost Analysis Strategy and Assessment (CASA) model;

o   Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP); and Release Tracking System (MRTS)).

 

Ø  The lifecycle support specialist must demonstrate the ability to perform the following duties:

o   Analyze, review, and verify Government training materials and technical manuals.

o   Resolve issues using logistics analysis processes, standards, systems, and/or reporting tools.

o   Analyze system sustainment strategies and core depot capabilities.

Ø  10 years of experience in DoD integrated logistics support procedures, material release, and fielding requirements.

Ø  Experience applying the Army’s Systems Approach to Training (SAT) model to the evaluation, analysis, and implementation of training programs and training support materials.

Ø  Experience in strategy development and execution supporting a POR.

Ø  Have a current Top Secret / (SCI) clearance.
