Semper Valens Solutions is seeking a technical writer for reports and reporting. This position is embedded in a specialized team with directives to provide multi-intelligence operations support services which contribute to: the protection and support within CJTF-OIR CJOA. This team’s objectives entail aiding in the coordination, planning and execution of intelligence collection operations; and providing exploitation and analytic support in coordination with CJTF-OIR and other entities and agencies in the Combined Joint Operating Area.
Technical Writer Tasks:
Ø Receive FGI from US DoD or coalition officials, and process IAW established SOPs, policies, and Regulations.
Ø Work in conjunction with Operational Management Team (OCT) to triage/prioritize FGI by comparing with CJTF-OIR PIRs and other intelligence collection requirements.
Ø Enter written reports and/or Intelligence Information Reports (IIRs) into appropriate government databases and submit to Operational Management Team for processing.
Ø Ad Hoc/anticipated deliverables in coordination with the Government Lead and the COR/ACOR: written reports, draft IIR, SPOT report, and/or weekly Foreign Government Information summary reports in accordance with SOPs. Reports are reviewed by and released at the discretion of the supported Operational Management Team.
Ø (U//FOUO) Ad Hoc/anticipated deliverables are required no latter then (NLT) 48 hours after initial tasking, unless otherwise coordinated with the Government Lead, and COR/ACOR.
Ø Other related tasks.
Technical Writer Qualifications:
Ø Military intelligence background.
Ø Military technical writing and reporting experience.
Ø Current secret level clearance.
Ø The ability to meet the requirements to deploy.
Technical Writer Required Skills:
Ø Proficient in utilizing standard computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development.
Ø Possess strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
Ø Ability to gather, analyze and collate and fuse available intelligence products to produce IIRs, reports, and briefings including the ability to clearly articulate information.
Ø Be capable of effectively operating as a member of an analytical team from a remote location in support of CJOA-I requirements.
Ø Must be able to demonstrate a professional demeanor.
