System Developer
Aberdeen Proving Grounds
Semper Valens Solutions is seeking a System Administrator specializing in system development for DoD Systems. This position is for the DS TAT program. DS TAT is Defense Systems Technical Area Tasks and is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) program for Research & Development (R&D) and/or Advisory & Assistance Services related to R&D efforts. It includes the following focus areas of interest: ¨ Advanced Materials ¨ Autonomous Systems ¨ Directed Energy ¨ Energetics ¨ Military Sensing ¨ Non-Lethal Weapons and Information Operations ¨ Reliability, Maintainability, Quality, Supportability, and Interoperability ¨ Survivability and Vulnerability ¨ Weapons Systems.
System Developer Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical / computer related field. 6 years of additional experience may be substituted.
- A minimum of 6 years of system administration experience is required.
- Current Top Secret clearance.
- Security+ certification or the ability to obtain one within 60 days of employment. A CASP or CISSP are acceptable.
- Must be able to demonstrate a professional demeanor.
- DCGS-A experience a plus.
System Developer Required Skills:
- Extensive experience with at least one of the following development languages: C#, ASP.NET, Java, C, C++.
- Proven track record of front end development including: CSS, HTML 5, JavaScript and major JS libraries including: Angular, jQuery, Dojo, and Require.js.
- Experience developing on modern application server environments (JBOSS, TomCAT, Microsoft Framework (IIS, etc)).
- Experience with both unstructured and structured relational databases.
- Preferred: Experience developing mobile enabled applications.
- Ability to lead and manage small teams (3-8 members).
