Operations Analyst, Aerostat
Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD
Contingent Upon Award
Support Homeland Security with your technical expertise in test engineering. The Semper Valens Solutions (SVS) PD Aerostats group is seeking technical Military trained and experienced professionals for the Aerostats Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance program. This program provides support for the following systems: Persistent Threat Detection Systems (PTDS), Joint Combat Identification Marking Systems (JCIMS), Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR), Persistent Ground Surveillance Systems (PGSS), Persistent Surveillance Systems – Tethered (PSS-T), Winch Aerostat Small Platform, and other products/systems as they are transitioned to be managed by PD Aerostats. This program for SVS is contingent upon award.
Operations Analyst Responsibilities:
Ø Advise on the effect of intelligence surveillance reconnaissance (ISR) systems on aerostats.
Ø Advise on operational procedures and reporting tools.
Ø Analyze operational data to identify and assist in resolving operations-related and mission-critical issues affecting Warfighter support, and assist leadership with refinement of aerostat operational procedures.
Ø Deploy CONUS/OCONUS (estimated to be 75% of the time).
Operations Analyst Qualifications:
Ø Have a current Top Secret / (SCI) clearance.
Ø Must be familiar with aerostats larger than 20 meters in length and have a minimum of 12 months experience quantifying and presenting operational data, and evaluating aerostat incident reports and problem reports.
Ø The operations analyst must demonstrate the ability to perform the following:
Ø Three (3) years of operations with any aerostat larger than 20 meters in length.
Ø Expertise with flight requirements for aerostats, including knowledge of flight certifications and flight parameters.
Ø 10 years of experience supporting military operations.
Ø Five (5) years of operations with any aerostat larger than 20 meters in length.
