Peter Vangjel

LTG (Ret)

LTG (Ret) Peter M. Vangjel is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire ROTC program and former Field Artillery officer who has served the Army for more than 37 years. He has led and commanded at every level from 1LT to Major General. He retired from military service in February 2015 and served as the Vice President for Raytheon’s Global Training Solutions business unit in Orlando Florida, continuing to serve Soldiers. His organization executed the Army’s largest-ever training contract, WarFighter Focus, valued at $11.2 Billion over 10 years, providing live and virtual training services for the US Government in CONUS and deployed locations. In sum, he managed a workforce of 2100 professionals in over 129 countries. He currently serves as President and Owner of V3 Strategies and Solutions, LLC, a consulting organization focused on management consulting and leader coaching. He advises clients in pursuit of opportunities valued at nearly $3 billion in US Government contracts and specializes in profit and loss management, strategy development, pursuit and proposal execution, strategic shaping, organizational effectiveness, program operations, leader development and performance coaching. LTG Vangjel has served as the Army Inspector General where he advised and mentored Army senior leaders by conducting seminars on leadership and ethical decision making in high stress situations. His team developed and implemented the General Officer Exportable Training Handbook for GOs and their staffs that is still in use today to train and advise General Officer staffs. During his tour as the Deputy Commanding General, US Army Central Command, he was responsible for managing an annual budget of over $20B and oversaw the delivery of Soldiers and equipment to support the POTUS-directed surge in 2010. As the Commanding General of Ft Sill, he served as Chief of the Field Artillery School, stood up the US Army Fires Center of Excellence, and brought the US Army Air Defense School and 31st ADA Brigade to Ft. Sill.at Ft Sill. LTG Vangjel has Masters degrees from the National War College and Central Michigan University. He has been married to his wife Joanne for 42 years and has three children - a son who serves in the Army as an Infantry officer, a son who is the Trumpet Professor at LSU and a daughter who is an Elementary School teacher in Orlando, FL.

Kevin Wooten

BG (Ret)

Kevin is a retired Air Force brigadier general with over 29 years experience in the Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance and Cyber career specialties. He commanded four times at various unit levels and has experience serving at the White House, OSD, Air Staff, and in Special Operations, as well as three combat tours. His various positions include the Principal Deputy Director of Air, Space, and Cyberspace Operations at Air Force Space Command. Previous to that, he directed most of the Air Force’s communications, cyber, and network policy, budgeting, and defense activities as Space Command’s Director of Communications and Information, including serving as the Air Force’s Authorizing Official for the Air Force Networks. He also led cyber operations and defense of one of the world’s largest networks as commander of the 67th Network Warfare Wing. His many awards include being named as one of the Federal 100 recipients in 2014. Wooton holds a bachelor’s degree in geophysics from the University of Utah and a master’s degree in administration from Central Michigan University. The Hoover Institution at Stanford University also named him a National Security Fellow. Today, he is owner and principal of Wooton Consulting Group, LLC, providing strategic direction and support in cybersecurity and intelligence issues across the spectrum of commercial and federal organizations Wooton recently served as Vice Chairman of the Board of the non-profit, Youth Code Jam, dedicated to fostering an interest in technology and computer science in children regardless of background. Kevin lives with his wife, Shelia, in Boerne, Texas; his hobbies include reading, the outdoors, photography and riding his Peloton stationary bike.
